For Czech vocalist Melis Soyaslanova and British musician Josh Christopher, the duo making up IYES, it seems to be fate that brought them both to Brighton, England at the same time. After meeting through mutual friends a little over a year ago, the young duo began to record demos that were immediately well received, and before long, listeners were begging for more. After signing with brand new label Duly Noted, IYES released an official single in early November of this year, keeping them firmly in their upward trajectory toward success.

Their official debut single, “‘Til Infinity,” is a bouncy electronic pop song with an addicting beat that makes dancing impossible to resist. These pounding drums and hand claps are complimented perfectly by Melis’ soft, smooth vocals. These beats are reflected in the lyrics which proclaim, “Clock keeps ticking and I’m living it up / I can’t think, should I keep it up?” I think we all agree that they should, indeed, keep it up.
