From “German Love” to “Bury Us Alive,” the hit tracks of Portland, OR based indie-pop band STRFKR have become a huge part of the international electronica-pop scene since 2008. STRFKR’s success may be due to their non-stop productivity and their passion for making everyone forget their troubles and dance.
The band’s 2011 album Reptilians generated so much success that some of us thought they might need a break, but STRFKR surprised everyone with a more beautiful and moving album, Miracle Mile, in 2013. The album gave birth to marvelous tracks such as “While I’m Alive” and “Beach Monster,” pushing listeners to think about deep romantic feelings, life and death, but still managing to keep us dancing and never forgetting to have fun.
