It seems a lot of good music is coming out of Australia these days. We’ve just received the first official single from Adelaide based Atlas Genius in this pure, unadulterated indie pop gem, “Trojans.” It’s difficult to find much information on the band, but from what we’ve heard, we can determine that they are a foursome who compare their style to Phoenix and The Kooks, which — judging from “Trojans” — is not far off.
The song houses an upbeat, guitar pop complexion that remains dominant over the faint use of keyboards, synths and light hearted drumming. One thing’s for sure, it’s catchy as hell. Download your copy above.
